STAAH Gives Clients Another Opportunity To Increase Revenue

An integration with Viator will prompt guests to book directly on a property’s website to see activities in the area. Properties stand to earn a minimum 3% commission on all Viator bookings that come from their website.


The integration will be available as a new feature for STAAH ConvertDirect and STAAH Max booking engines.

By connecting with Viator, guests will have an opportunity to easily transition to a platform that is one of the most complete internet resources for travellers,” says Edwin Saldanha, Regional Manager – Oceania, STAAH Ltd.

“For properties, this is an opportunity to enhance the guest experience by making the process of booking a holiday even more seamless. At the same time, they earn a minimum 3% commission on every activity booked by their guests on Viator through this channel. It’s a win-win for all.”

Viator, a TripAdvisor company, sells tours and activities through Viator.com (available in ten local-language sites serving North and South American, European and Japanese markets) five fully optimized mobile sites and more than 3,000 affiliate sites that include major hotel chains and airlines, online travel agencies, city-specific sites and more.

The integration can easily be activated by STAAH clients with the functionality made live on site instantly. A banner link to choose locally available Viator activities is also added to the confirmation email.
