1) SwiftBook – Reports – Extras Booked
What’s new?
The Extras Report is now available for SwiftBook.
This report allows properties to track and maintain a record of all booked add-ons, giving valuable insights into which extras are popular with guests.
2) SwiftBook – Accessibility Menu
What’s New?
The European Union is rolling out the EU Accessibility Act (EAA) to make digital services easier to use for people who are differently challenged. We’re supporting this by improving the accessibility of our Booking Engine.
Why This Matters:
- Makes the booking experience better and more inclusive for everyone
- Helps our customers stay compliant with new EU laws
- Shows our ongoing commitment to user-friendly, inclusive design
What To Expect:
We’ve taken the first steps by adding:
- A new Accessibility Menu in the booking engine so users can:
- Adjust contrast
- Enlarge text
- Enlarge the cursor
- Highlight links
Screen reader support is now available in SwiftBook, with more updates on the way to ensure full accessibility
3) SwiftBook – Date Widget – Package Dropdown
What’s new?
A new Package Dropdown option is now available in the Date Option widget, allowing users to select packages directly from the widget.
How to Configure:
- Customize Label: Edit the dropdown label from the Widget Settings page.
- Enable on New Widgets: When creating a new widget, toggle on the Package Dropdown to display it to users.
Note: The room or package dropdown will appear only if multiple options are available and rooms or packages have been selected.

4) Swiftbook – New Datepicker Design: Design without Rates
What’s New?
We’ve introduced a cleaner, simpler datepicker design:
- Rates and restrictions are hidden to reduce clutter.
- Sold-out dates are marked with an “x” so users can quickly spot unavailable dates.
How to Configure:
Go to the BE Themes module and use the dropdown to select the new datepicker design.
5) Swiftbook – Price Breakdown
What’s new?
The Price Breakdown is now also displayed in the cart area, providing more clarity and transparency for users before checkout.

6) Swiftbook – Add Promo Code in the Cart Area
What’s new?
Customers can now enter a promo code directly in the cart area, even if they didn’t apply one earlier in the booking process. This ensures more flexibility and a smoother user experience during checkout.
7) Swiftbook – Link Policy to Supported Payment Type/Payment Gateway
What’s new?
You can now link cancellation policies to specific payment types or gateways for greater flexibility when offering multiple payment options.
Key Highlights:
- Link applicable payment gateways directly to cancellation policies.
- Automatically applies correct payment options when a policy is assigned to a package.
- Supports a hybrid setup, uses standard and linked policies together.
- Permission-based feature, can be enabled via Super Admin > Permissions.
- Ideal for properties offering Pay Now / Pay Later or multi-currency packages.

Use Cases:
Example 1:
A property offers both Pay Now and Pay Later options. For Pay Later packages, a custom cancellation policy can be created and linked to the Hotel Collect payment type.
Example 2:
Package prices vary by currency based on the guest’s nationality. Properties can set different cancellation policies for each currency, connect them to the right payment gateways, and link them to the relevant packages.
