With categorized reports and intuitive tooltips explaining each metric, it empowers teams to spot trends, correct inefficiencies, and forecast with confidence.

Regularly reviewing reports – ideally every week or at least monthly – allows properties to align their strategies with market demand, promotional performance, and guest behavior. Let’s explore everything you can track within this powerful module.

STAAH Reporting moduleWhat Can You Track?

The Reports module on the STAAX Max dashboard is divided into five key categories, each offering a suite of specialized reports:

1. Insights

These reports provide a high-level overview of your business and channel performance:

  • Business Overview: Snapshot of total revenue booked, room bookings, and total room revenue for the current month.
  • Channel Insights: Detailed analysis of each channel’s performance, covering total room nights, lead times, and other booking behavior insights.

2. General

Dive deeper into core operational metrics with these comprehensive reports:

  • Bookings: View total rooms booked, average daily rate (ADR), number of nights, and revenue across connected sources.
  • Channel Rates: See rate data across all distribution channels and identify where rate parity or optimization is needed.
  • Room Revenue: Understand day-wise revenue trends across different room types to identify high-demand dates and rooms.
  • Room Type Wise Booking: Analyze performance by room category to determine popularity and revenue contribution per room type.
  • Rate Plan: See how different rate plans (standard, non-refundable, etc.) are performing across OTAs and booking sources.
  • Lead Time: Track how far in advance guests are booking — useful for planning early-bird promotions and adjusting inventory.
  • Guest Report: Access a full list of guest information for communication, loyalty programs, and future marketing initiatives.
  • Booking Cancellation: Monitor cancellations by arrival date or cancellation date to improve rebooking strategies and reduce revenue loss.

3. Booking Engine

Focuses on the performance of your direct booking platform and promotional tools:

  • Packages: Evaluate how different packages are performing, including the number of bookings, nights, and revenue.
  • Promo Code Bookings: Review bookings and revenue generated through individual promo codes to assess the effectiveness of each offer.
  • Analytics: See how visitors interact with your booking engine – track traffic, conversion rate, drop-off points, most searched dates, and guest locations.
  • Newsletter Subscription: A list of users who opted into your mailing list, allowing you to build personalized email campaigns and loyalty strategies.

4. Opportunities (Available only via Booking.com)

Unlock additional market intelligence and platform-driven suggestions:

  • Booking.com Opportunities: Explore exclusive opportunities and recommendations to enhance performance, improve visibility, or enrich guest experience – tailored by Booking.com for your property.
  • Market Insights: Compare your performance against regional demand trends to benchmark success and adjust inventory or pricing accordingly.

5. Logs (Internal Use Only)

Ensure operational transparency and compliance with these internal reports:

  • Base Rate Data Report: View current availability, base rates, and restrictions to help with long-term planning and real-time pricing updates.
  • Credit Card Logs: Monitor who accessed sensitive credit card information, including booking ID, user details, timestamp, and IP address.
  • Activity Logs: Track changes made within your property’s extranet – useful for internal audits and accountability.
