STAAH Adds Jaypee Hotels & Resorts to Its Distribution Network

Leading Indian five-star deluxe hotel chain, Jaypee Hotels & Resorts has completed the rollout of STAAH’s online distribution platform across all its five properties in North India.

The partnership provides Jaypee Hotels & Resorts the data and operational efficiencies needed to support the group’s growth. For STAAH, it adds nearly 900 rooms to its already burgeoning global distribution network.

“Changing channel managers is not something we took lightly across our whole group and there was a period of two years discussion with STAAH before we made the decision to make the move,” Mr Burnell said. Mr Burnell added that the introduction of the STAAH channel management system had already led to a noticeable increase in direct bookings.

“STAAH brings to the table reliable and easy-to-use technology solution to power our hotels’ online distribution,” says Mr Vaibhav Verma, Vice President Sales, Jaypee Hotels & Resorts. “Its strong service backup, local presence and technical capabilities will be hugely beneficial to our team.”

The partnership will also feature live updates to all linked channels, including the Jaypee Hotels’ Synxis booking engine, an easy-to-use interface, a mobile app and a competitor rate tracking system (RateStalk).

With an increasing number of bookings being done online – 30% to 60%, depending on which part of the world you’re in, it is best to a adopt cloud-based technology like STAAH, which is designed for seamless and quick integration with global online market places, without requiring extra manpower managing the various distribution channels.

Reiterating its importance, Mr Tarun Joukani, Managing Director, STAAH India says, “This partnership signifies that deploying a fast, automated and adaptive distribution technology is a essential for properties of all sizes to remain competitive in today’s dynamic online environment.”

The integration of STAAH’s Instant Channel Manager with Jaypee Hotels & Resorts was completed by the end of January 2017, with all the properties in the group now benefitting from its enviable online reach and a high-performing platform that drives efficiencies and revenue.
