Channel Manager Update
1) Max – Channels – Mapping Details Page
What’s New?
- Redesigned Mapping Details Page: Improved UI/UX for better usability and navigation.
- Integration Categories Enhanced:
- Preferred Channels: Displayed at the top if not already connected, making them easier to spot.
- All Available Integrations: Now directly visible on the page, no need to add from a separate screen.
- Meta Channels: Listed individually instead of being grouped under a generic “Meta” label.
- Pilot Integrations:
- Clearly tagged with a “Pilot” badge.
- Clicking a pilot tile opens a pop-up with a message about the pilot phase.
- Users are prompted to contact a support member if they wish to join the pilot.
Phased Rollout: This is the first step in a larger revamp of the Channel Mapping Module.
- Option to search for integration based on category.
- Meta Partners are now listed individually.
- Private API Partner, the partner name will be indicated below ‘SwiftBook’.
- Preferred Channels are displayed separately at the top of the page, with priority placement for easier access and visibility.
- All integrations are displayed on the page. The connected channels are displayed at the top.
Booking Engine Update
1) SwiftBook – Package – Package Discount Ribbon, Meal Icon and Strikethrough
Discount Ribbon & Label
Purpose: Visually highlight promotional package offers without using Smart Pricing.
- Properties can add a Discount Ribbon Label to packages.
- Helps showcase promotional offers more effectively.
- Takes priority over Smart Pricing Discount Ribbon if both are applied.
- Option to upload a custom Discount Icon for added visibility.
How to Set It Up:
- Go to Booking Engine > BE Packages > Room Type.
- Add a Discount Ribbon Label.
- Upload a custom Discount Icon (optional).
Meal Icon
Purpose: Clearly display meal inclusions to improve transparency and appeal.
- Meal icons auto-display based on the ‘Meal Plan’ configured in each package.
- Icons are placed next to the package name for quick recognition.
- Two predefined icons:
- Breakfast Icon – indicates breakfast included.
- Lunch/Dinner Icon – indicates lunch and/or dinner included.
- Hovering over the icon shows the specific meal type (e.g., Caribbean breakfast).
How to Set It Up:
- Go to Booking Engine > Packages > Package Info.
- Set up a Meal Plan as part of the package.
Custom Meal Icons:
- Create custom meal types via the Meal Plans module.
- Upload a custom meal icon as needed.
Strikethrough Discounts on Base Rate
Purpose: Show the full value of the package and highlight the discount clearly.
- Discounts are now calculated from the base rate.
- A strikethrough is shown on the retail (undiscounted) price.
- The strikethrough also includes any one-off add-ons to reflect total savings.
- Permission-controlled feature.
How to Enable:
- Go to BE Permissions.
- Enable the permission: Strike Through Retail Rate.
2) SwiftBook – Promotions – Smart Pricing Discount Ribbon
What’s New?
Before: Discounts were displayed as percentages, which sometimes led to decimal values due to rounding errors during calculation.
Now: Discounts are shown as a clear, fixed ‘Savings value’ (e.g., “Save ₹500”), making it easier for guests to understand their benefit.
Applies to: Both single-rate and multi-rate packages—ensuring consistency and clarity across all rate displays.

3) SwiftBook – Language Translation
What’s New?
- Expanded Default Language Support: Properties can now configure their booking engine in more default languages, including Arabic, Japanese, Dutch, and more.
- Customisable Translation Options: New settings allow properties to:
- Select which languages are available for translation
- Hide the translation feature entirely
- Disable the Google Translate warning pop-up
- Allow translation of Property Name, Room Name, and Rate Name (optional)
- Improved Static Content Translation: All static content (except amenities) is now auto-translated to the property’s configured default language.
- Translation Pop-up Warning (Optional): Customers are alerted about possible inaccuracies when using Google Translate — this pop-up can now be turned off.
- Max Extranet Configuration: All translation settings are now manageable directly in Max Extranet under:
Booking Engine Module > BE Settings
4) SwiftBook – Change in Book Button Behaviour
What’s new?
- Smarter ‘Book’ Button: The ‘Book’ button now appears only after a room is selected, helping users stay focused and reducing clutter on the page.
- Visual Room Selection Cues: Rates are highlighted only when a room is selected. If they appear in a lighter font, the room hasn’t been chosen yet.
- Clear Indicators for Unavailable Rooms: When rooms are sold out, the human icon, room selection area, and rates will all appear in a lighter font and will be non-selectable.
Room not selected:
- The ‘Book’ button is not visible
- The ‘Room Rates’ are in a lighter font style
