Cicilia’s career journey embodies a profound passion for the travel and tourism industry, with each step contributing to her expertise in hospitality and technology. 


From her beginnings in tour operations to her role at STAAH, Cicilia’s trajectory is marked by a commitment to learning and exploration.

A Bit About Cicilia’s Career Journey

Cicilia’s passion has always resided within the travel and tourism industry. Her career in hospitality and travel began with a role as a tour operator in Kuala Lumpur, where she managed FIT and group bookings while honing her skills in crafting tour packages. Her journey continued as a reservation executive at a 5-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur, where she gained valuable insights into hotel property management systems and the intricacies of online reservations.

The pivotal moment in Cicilia’s career came when she recognized the burgeoning potential of online booking platforms for the travel industry. Seizing the opportunity, she joined Agoda Malaysia, immersing herself in the nuances of OTA business operations, from setting up hotel profiles online to hotel acquisition and management. Her expertise continued to evolve as she took on roles at Traveloka, Galileo, and TUI Malaysia, each providing unique opportunities for growth and exploration in hospitality distribution channels.

Driven by curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, Cicilia made the leap to STAAH without hesitation when the opportunity arose. Her journey to STAAH reflects her unwavering dedication to staying ahead of the curve in the dynamic landscape of hospitality technology.

Cicilia’s enthusiasm for STAAH stems from its dynamic work environment and the opportunity for continuous learning. She appreciates the fast-paced nature of the company, coupled with a supportive team culture that spans across multiple locations. During her onboarding at STAAH, Cicilia was pleasantly surprised by the breadth of solutions offered beyond traditional channel management. The innovative tools provided by STAAH empower clients to drive bookings and revenue effectively.

Outside of work, Cicilia is a sports enthusiast who finds solace in swimming, a hobby that allows her to relax and rejuvenate. Her passion for cooking extends beyond the kitchen as she enjoys experimenting with Asian and Western cuisines, finding joy in the process of creating delicious meals. Additionally, Cicilia’s love for travel, especially culinary adventures, fuels her desire to explore new destinations with her family, creating cherished memories and inspiring her work at STAAH.
