STAAH integration with Holidu opens new doors for vacation rentals

STAAH, a leading global provider of hotel guest acquisition and management technology, has announced completion of its integration with Holidu, a German vacation rental platform that booked 1.5 million guests in 2023. Mutual customers can now capitalise on the booking USD 100 billion vacation rental industry.


Through the partnership, STAAH’s vacation rental, serviced apartment and other self-catering property customers receive direct access to distribute their inventory through Holidu’s booking platform which boasts more than 30 million visitors a month across 25 live domains. Holidu’s visitor profile is predominantly European with almost 50% of these coming from the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

“We wanted to partner with STAAH to gain the opportunity of connecting directly with the vacation rentals managers who trust in the technology and innovation of STAAH,” says Enrique Planas, Head of Business Development from Holidu.  “With the vacation rental industry exceeding growth expectations year after year, this partnership gives us the opportunity to connect with European property managers who trust in the STAAH software and grow our portfolio offering to our valued customer base.”

Holidu boasts higher than average booking value compared to other leading OTAs with an average of seven nights stay. Its popularity as a platform is driven not just its booking success rates, but also lower costs. “With Holidu there are no hidden costs such as commission on cleaning or booking fee. A commission is only applied to successful, paid bookings, presenting no risk to property owners and managers,” says Enrique.

The integration with STAAH is a two-way, real-time XML integration allowing full calendar, pricing and content synchronisation between Holidu and STAAH. The seamless connection is enhanced by dedicated support offered by both STAAH and Holidu to ensure properties capitalise on the rich features of the two platforms to maximise their bookings.

“Owners and managers of vacation rentals have long been challenged with gaining the same connectivity that owners of more traditional forms of accommodation have had access to. Consumer preferences have clearly shifted, and integration partnerships such as STAAH with Holidu are crucial for property owners and managers to navigate through the complexities of online bookings, to ensure their listings on booking sites are continuously up-to-date, and to ultimately secure the modern traveller and guest,” says Tarun Joukani, Director – STAAH Ltd.

The STAAH – Holidu integration will enable full control of listing content via the STAAH platform. Listing will be supported in 13 languages across 25 Holidu domains with full customer information sent to properties with every booking. Direct communication with customers is enabled post booking. Property owners and managers can also avail of Holidu’s multilingual partnership and customer service teams all based in Europe.

STAAH properties interested in featuring their properties on Holidu can complete the integration via their dashboard or contact their local customer care team for help.

Holidu’s mission is to make search and booking of holiday homes easy. It’s a booking platform for self-catering properties with over 30 million visitors a month across 25 live domains, with the majority of customers coming from Europe and the UK.
