Double Digit Growth for STAAH Client in South East Asia

Popular Bali resort, Champlung Mas Hotel & Spa, sees a 15% rise in bookings using STAAH’s channel manager.

Located near the surfing beach of Kuta in Legian, Champlung Mas Hotel & Spa is a playground for international travellers. But it is not the only Bali resort attracting the attention of this lucrative audience. Hence, the need for a quick and easy-to-use channel manager to remain competitive.

Champlung Mas Hotel & Spa started using the STAAH Instant Channel Manager in August 2016, driven by a need to increase and optimise its online revenue. “There were also some errors in mapping allotment to OTAs,” says Ms Dewi, E-commerce Manager, Champlung Mas Hotel & Spa.

STAAH’s Instant Channel Manager helped resolve these intermittent errors while gaining time and revenue efficiencies.

“Our bookings from OTAs are up 9% since we started using STAAH,” says Ms. Dewi. “And this is a big achievement for us given our market and comp set.”

Champlung Mas Hotel & Spa is part of the Champlung Hotels & Resorts, which operates three properties in Bali. The 171-room hotel features a roof top pool, spa and other amenities that international travellers to the region seek. A channel manager is a great tool to understand this audience and market the rooms and facilities to yield best results.

Post the STAAH integration, the management of the booking process has become very simple, allowing the Champlung Mas team to focus on growing their online channels. STAAH’s intuitive dashboard and powerful reporting is a huge bonus and aid to the quick online gains seen by the hotel.

Other distinct advantages of STAAH for Champlung Mas have been the cost – it is very reasonably priced – and the support. “The local team is knowledgeable, fast and very responsive,” says Ms Dewi.

All factors put together, STAAH has been very effective in placing Champlung Mas on the path to online success. “While a few improvements would be handy, we would definitely recommend STAAH to any property that wants to grow online sales,” says Ms. Dewi
