Village Accommodation Group Connects to the STAAH Network

The Wellington-based apartment and hotel accommodation provider will be using STAAH’s technology solutions to broaden distribution and improve bookings.

“As we increase our footprint, there is a need to update our technology, expand our channels of distribution and ensure a seamless path to conversion,” says Adam Cunningham from the Village Accommodation Group, Wellington’s best-recognised and largest commercial accommodation provider.

“STAAH is offering exactly that. Its strong, sustainable and unified platform helps us to manage and enhance our online reach more effectively, engage and maximise conversions,” he adds.

The group is connected to a multitude of online travel agents (OTAs) and GDS via the STAAH platform, including its cloud-based, real-time channel manager. “The connection has dramatically increased our online presence and improved bookings,” says Adam.

STAAH also powers the group’s website, showing off its properties to the world, as well as providing a seamless path to conversion with a completely customised booking engine.

Talking about STAAH’s products, Adam says, “They exemplify simplicity at its best, allowing amazing operational flexibility while delivering an unsurpassed user experience.” He is also appreciative of the hands-on support the local STAAH team extended to the group to set-up and manage the platform.

With serviced apartments, townhouses and rooms, across seven properties in key locations around Wellington CBD & Upper Hutt, the Village Accommodation Group caters to both business and leisure travellers. It is well-known for the quality offering and high service standards delivered at its properties that range from 3 to 5 stars. The group recently added the iconic Ohtel on Oriental Parade into its boutique property portfolio.
