JSK Mantanani Island Resort uses STAAH to increase direct bookings by 60%

The Malaysian resort turned to STAAH to resolve its connectivity challenges and saw an immediate increase in bookings once connected.


JSK Mantanani Island Resorts is a tropical oasis with sandy beaches, emerald waters and azure skies that offer an ideal escape and vacation. Everything you’d expect from a Malaysian beach resort. It is located on Mantanani Besar Island, one of the three islands that make up the main island of Mantanani. The resort is about an hour and a half drive from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) and a 45-minute speedboat ride from the jetty at Kota Belud.

Online Booking SolutionsThe resort offers a selection of villas and deluxe rooms with modern amenities. It also boasts a karaoke room, on-site restaurant and bar, dive centre and much more.

Connectivity challenges

Prior to STAAH managing connections with multiple OTAs, ensuring correct inventory allotment and rates was challenging. In addition to this keying in bookings from OTAs into the PMS was cumbersome and prone to errors.

Integration with STAAH unlocked a seamless connection from booking on the OTA to updating the linked property management system (PMS), saving hours for the team to manually enter bookings into the PMS or spend extra on getting a software to connect to the PMS. The integration with STAAH also ensures a two-way XML update of rates, inventory, content (in most cases) and booking details in real-time.
