Smart Stay Swiss Cottage fills up within days of opening thanks to strategic connections made via STAAH Channel Manager and an easy-to-use Booking Engine.


About The Property

Located in Central London, Smart Stay Swiss Cottage is a boutique 22-room property that is ideal for business and leisure travellers. It is a labour of love and passion by manager Denisa Bogdan, who has no previous hospitality experience. Every room in the property has been furnished to the highest standard and kitted out with its own unique kitchen and washing facility for improved guest experience.

The STAAH Connection

Although new to hospitality, Denisa knew that the success of the business depended greatly on how they reach their target audience. Smart Stay Swiss Cottage is connected to Booking.com, Expedia and the ConvertDirect Booking Engine on its website using the STAAH Instant Manager.

It’s an affordable and high-performing platform with powerful features that have been designed keeping in mind the unique needs of hospitality businesses, says Denisa.

Among its notable features according to Denisa is an easy-to-use dashboard that is their one platform to manage all the distribution channels. The STAAH channel manager easily connected to Smart Stay Swiss Cottage’s property management system – Abode.

STAAH’s real-time cloud-based channel manager makes instant updates across all channels – making rate and inventory management a breeze, with almost zero booking errors. Property owners have access to insights so they can optimise rates and inventory across channels. For owner-operators such as Denisa, the STAAH mobile app to manage bookings on the go is a huge blessing.

Stellar Results

Since connecting to the STAAH channel manager and adopting ConverDirect booking engine in March 2018, Smart Stay Swiss Hotel has acquired 350 bookings and is almost running to full capacity for the next few months. The reservations started trickling in within days of opening and continue to come in, both via the two connected OTAs and directly through their website.
