Running out of ideas to market your property on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blog or any other form of social media? Here are some post suggestions to get your creative juices flowing.


Top 10 Lists

Listicles are easy-to-digest snippets of information that are simple to create and extremely engaging. Example: Top 10 takeaways in the city, top 5 things to do this winter, top Instagram-worthy spots in town, etc.

Don’t forget to source and post great visuals to support your content marketing. You can even get creative with your Facebook posts, using the carousel or slide show format to mix things up a little for your fans.

Local Attractions and Destination Chatter

Local is the new international. Become the authentic source of everything happening in your locality and destination. This could be fun facts about your city or town, cultural titbits or hidden gems to explore in your region.

Tip: When naming local businesses on your social posts, like their Facebook page as a business and then tag them in your post so they know they’re being mentioned and reciprocate. Likewise, use the ‘mention’ functionality on Twitter and Instagram.

A great way to engage with audiences is talking about your staff – something interesting they do, a hidden talent, their appearance at a travel show…

Another way to get your staff involved is posting their recommendations on what to do and see in your town. You could call it Team Picks.

Nothing holds a user like a funny video, photo or anecdote of an event at your property.

Answer questions your guests most frequently ask your front desk in a post format.

Positive Media Coverage & Reviews
