STAAH & MakeMyTrip – Unlocking the Online Reach & Revenue for Hundreds of Properties

Established in 2012, the connection between STAAH and MakeMyTrip has been a boon to the rapidly growing and evolving Indian travel market.

“It has always been our goal to ensure we bring top-notch technology to our hotel partners,” said Ritwik Khare from MakeMyTrip, India’s biggest travel site. “The STAAH connection has enabled them to be seamlessly integrated to our channel when they make rates and inventory updates.”

MakeMyTrip holds a lion’s share of India’s travel market – 48%, 5.8 million Hotels Room Nights Stayed in 1Q FY18. Launched in 2005, the company revolutionalised the way Indians bought travel. Today the travel site provides its customers with access to all major domestic full-service and low-cost airlines operating in India and all major airlines operating to and from India; more than 45,000 hotels; 13,500 alternative accommodation properties in India; more than 500,000 hotels and properties outside India; and the Indian Railways and all major Indian bus operators.
