STAAH continues to diversify its distribution with a Tourplan connection

The connectivity will allow Tourplan’s 370 – and growing – tour operators and DMCs to access accommodation rates and availability in real-time.

Tourplan, a leading travel industry software solution is now connected to STAAH’s growing global network via the STAAH channel manager. The integration provides Tourplan clients, a rapid, real-time XML connection with more than 4300 accommodation providers who are part of the STAAH network.

“We are excited to connect with STAAH,” says Craig Gray, Global Sales & Marketing Director of Tourplan. “Our clients will make significant efficiency gains through automated hotel searching and booking via their in-house and online sales channels.”

Tourplan’s integration with the STAAH platform allows their clients to receive an instant confirmation for bookings at net contracted or other rates (as negotiated by the tour operator with the accommodation provider directly). It also provides access to additional rates and inventory including special offers, best available rate, rate of the day and last-minute rates, all without needing to monitor manual supplier communications and update their internal database.

“Accommodation is a core offering by our clients thus increasing Tourplan’s real-time access to hotel availability is a key focus for us. STAAH’s, scalable channel manager technology and growing footprint perfectly align with this direction,” comments Craig on the strategic connection.
