Not so for STAAH that has grown exponentially in a short span of time by constantly improving its already cutting-edge suite of technology solutions to help hotels increase online profitability. This has earned the company NZTE’s ‘Innovation Showcase’ award and a spot as a finalist in the Westpac Business Awards.
Innovation and partnership reaps rewards
In 2016, STAAH partnered with the Lemon Tree Hotel Group, one of the leading hotel chain in India to help maximise its online visibility and optimise its occupancy rate via direct bookings and channel management.
STAAH is the fastest growing channel manager in India; its products providing a real-time, dynamic and easy-to-use interface for hotels to manage their inventory and pricing. The partnership has produced stellar results for both, with Lemon Tree Hotels managing to increase revenue across its 39 properties in 23 Indian cities. For STAAH, the partnership won it New Zealand Trade & Enterprise’s (NZTE) ‘Innovation Showcase’ award. This annual award celebrates fruitful partnerships between Indian and New Zealand companies, and celebrates New Zealand’s expertise in animation and digital design.
Accepting the award from Prime Minister John Key at a special ceremony in India, STAAH’s Gavin Jeddo (company founder and a pioneer of channel management) said the award is recognition of the company’s unwavering ability to make products that are dynamic, easy-to-use and result-focused.
Another one to its name…
Further recognition of STAAH’s technical excellence came in the form of its confirmation as a finalist in the ‘Excellence in Innovation’ category at the Westpac Auckland Business Awards 2016 – North. One of the most popular categories of the awards, it recognises B2C and B2B businesses with significant achievement in innovation. Entrants ranged from an array of different industries and STAAH’s products stood out amongst all along with four other finalists from the region.
Over the year ending December 2016, STAAH’s holistic suite of technology solutions generated more than 4.5 million bookings for more than 3200 properties across 50 countries. While the awards are a cherry on the cake, these figures are testament to STAAH’s technological innovation and success in the global markets.
