STAAHs Increased Presence in Southeast Asia Reaps Results

Global hospitality online distribution technology specialist, STAAH, has solidified its presence in the region by tying up with leading hotel groups.

Swiss-Belhotel International, EV World, Smile Hotels, Summit Hotels, Dafam Hotels, Jambuluwuk Hotel & Resorts, Mornington Hotels and Crystal Crown are among the prestigious hotel groups that now benefit from STAAH’s industry-leading applications.

“We are excited to have partnered with STAAH,” says Mr Mahadi Abdul Hamid – Front Office Manager from Crystal Crown Group . “Our growth and success is closely tied with the reach and marketability that STAAH offers. It enables us to expand our reach beyond local travellers to international visitors – and by using STAAH’s channel manager and booking engine we are in a stronger position to do so.”

In the past two years STAAH has grown its team across the region with representation now in Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia to provide local support. In the same time period, the client base has grown more than 100%.

“The expansion of the team is consistent with our company’s strategy in penetrating the Asian region. And the results are flowing through, says STAAH’s COO, Patrick Lopez. “We have identified Southeast Asia as a region key to our business growth and sustainability, and we will continue to focus our business model and investments into this region,”

With tourism authorities in these regions setting high targets for international visitation, hotels here are poised for growth.
