GRT Hotels & Resorts Enters Distribution Agreement with STAAH

The partnership will see STAAH streamlining the distribution of the group’s properties to online booking channels and driving bottom-line growth via direct booking revenue.


The deal between South India’s fastest growing hospitality groups, GRT Hotels & Resorts, and distribution technology specialist, STAAH, was inked recently. It will enable GRT Group to capitalise on the growing leisure and business travel into the region.

“The hospitality industry is changing rapidly,” says Vikram Cotah, Chief Operating Officer of GRT Group. “New technologies and a dynamic online environment redefining how hoteliers operate.”

A group without a channel manager can become a nightmare to manage in today’s complex distribution scenario with unique needs such as rate parity and instant updates to inventory.

He adds that the group is delighted to have STAAH on board to power its online growth.

The partnership will include use of STAAH’s channel manager, booking engine to drive direct bookings and interface with the group’s property management system, WinHMS. It extends to all properties within the group.

The integration offers an automated distribution solution for the group, enabling the seamless flow of availability and reservations between their WinHMHS property management system and their online distribution channels through STAAH.

“Without an end-to-end integration that includes the property and channel management platforms, hotels run the risk of creating a broken booking experience for their guests,” says Edward Savary, Managing Director of Winsar Infosoft Pvt Ltd.
